Will GOP win election lotto?

Will the GOP win the election lotto on Tuesday? If they can take the congress and the senate it will be like winning the lottery. After only two years of having total control, the democrats could loose everything in one election and that would send a very powerful message to DC.
But, will the DC power brokers realize that  the message that the people sent is not for the republicans to control things, but that the people want control back and they are just the agents of change?
We will find out, stay tuned folks. Will they repeal the Obama Health Care Bill? Will they extend the Bush era tax cuts? Will they cut spending? Time will tell and we must keep a steady eye on whats going on to ensure that the new officials don't give in to the DC crowd once again.
Watch them very closely for lack of commitment to the cause of freedom and don't let forget why we put them there.

Book Review, Compromising Positions

Compromising Positions This book is a must read for anyone who loves romance novels. The review are mixed on this one. They range from loved it, to missing an actual plot. But it does have some steamy sex scenes and is an easy read.
The charterers, Sophia and David were so likable as individuals that you root for them to find happiness and the sexual tension between them seems so real. The book will make you laugh and cry and you pull for them to find a way together.
If you love romance novels, then you need to check this one out. There are no big twist and surprise ending, but a great read.

Do you look at your income tax refund as savings?

Do you treat the IRS as you own personal piggy bank? If you do you are loosing money, do you like loaning your money to people for free. If you reduced your tax liability and put the money in a savings account you could be earning money instead of loosing it. The IRS only want's what is owed, so why give them more than that?
Think about it, when you borrow money from the bank, do they do it for free?

Should the government be the only ones to run lottery?

What if wanted to run your own lottery? If you thought that you could make money from running your own lottery and wanted that to be your full time job, could you? NO! The government has a monopoly on that in this country. Should they? Some people would say yes, because they can monitor and control payout, make sure that people that pay in, knows that somebody will win. I don't know if you could be that trusting of an individual, but why isn't up to you to decide if you play or not with whoever?
This question came up today and would like to hear from people their thoughts on this.

The unemployment number still range in the hundreds of thousands of people out of work. Are you one of them?
